The City of Kennesaw will hold the final public input session for its 2025 Livable Centers Initiative study on Wednesday, October 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ben Robertson Community Center, 2753 Watts Drive, according to the city's event listing.
The study focuses on a half-mile stretch of Cobb Parkway between Watts Drive and Summer Street. It aims to better connect the corridor, Downtown Kennesaw and nearby neighborhoods through safer streets, stronger design standards and future development. Consultant Pond & Company leads the work, funded by an Atlanta Regional Commission grant, and the city says it should finish by October 2027.
Residents who live, work or drive the corridor can share feedback in person. An earlier workshop was held August 12, and more study background is posted at kennesawlci.com.
Check the city's listing for any schedule changes before attending. Read More... |
